Call of Duty...Root of all Evil!

When I married my husband I knew how much he loved videos games (obviously a big kid at heart). He works hard to provide for us and to make sure we live comfortably so when he plays video games I generally don't mind. As I type this post I am listen to the most annoying game in the world, Call of Duty. This is the only game that gets under my skin!

For those of you aren't familiar with COD allow me to fill you in...

COD is a online role playing game where you are part of a modernized military and you kill people. You choose your primary weapon (a gun) and then you are also allowed perks such as a bomb or hand grenade. There is map that lets you see where your opponents are, you can play complete strangers or invite your friends. The person with the most kills and least deaths wins. You get the concept.

COD isn't annoying because of the sounds of shooting guns, bombs going off, or enemy helicopters shooting people. It is annoying simply because of the blue tooth capabilities. All I hear is my husband talking to his brother about killing people or yelling because he was killed. When I say "yell" I mean screaming and cursing. The worst part is when I am on the internet, and I cause the game to "lag", oops! HAHA

If you don't have someone in your home who loves playing video games you probably are thinking my husband is a complete psychopath, but I assure you anyone who plays this God awful game does the same thing. I am considering starting a support group for wives whose husbands play COD, your husband or boyfriend plays you know this is a good idea!

These are the time I wish I had selective hearing!

You can find an amazing selection of home accent rugs, throw blankets, and afghans for any style decor.

For my review I received the Jacobean Flower - Spa Blue home accent rug from the Jelly Bean line!

I absolutely love this rug. Not only is the rug cute it is extremely durable. Having two dogs dragging in mud and dirt, I have had to wash my rug twice. I put it in the washer and even into the dryer and it still looks brand new. The color never faded and the rug didn't come out in pieces! Madison at Main really impressed me with the quality of their products!

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to spruce up your home, I strongly suggest you visit Madison at Main!

One of my lucky readers will their choice of accent rug from either the Jelly Bean or the Homefires line.

Growums Review/Giveaway Ends 10/19

I think it is essential for children to see and understand where are foods come from. I recently got the opportunity to work with Growums, a family ran company, that teaches children how fun it really is to watch plants grow. What a great way for kids to eat healthy foods that they have cared for and grown themselves.

I received the Pizza Garden which includes basil, oregano, pepper, tomato, 8 coco pellets, and 8 plant tags. The easy follow directions make planting a breeze! What makes Growums so awesome is their online interaction. You register on growums.com and they will send you e-mail reminders about your garden.

Your kids can visit their website and play games, view different videos, and much more! I am in love with all the Growum characters! They have great videos featuring this funny and creative animated vegetables, that teach how to care for your garden.

On the right is Elvis Parsley-Parsley. How cute is that?

I am so impressed with everything Growums has to offer. They offer many different gardens such as the taco garden, the stir fry garden, the herb garden, the salad garden, and the ratatouille garden. All the gardens are extremely affordable! I highly recommend anyone with children try Growums, I guarantee you will love them!

Giveaway
One of my lucky readers will their very own Growums Pizza Kit!
