Still The Same...

My husband and I were lucky enough to see Bob Seger in concert over the weekend and it was amazing! Yes, he is "Still the Same", actually he was better than the same! Our seats were awesome, we were 11 row aways from the stage! His opening act was country singer Frankie Ballard, who has since became a regular visitor on my Ipod playlist.

I even got a guitar pick that he tossed off stage!

Bob played for 3 1/2 hours with just a 7 minute intermission.

Not only did we get to see Bob Seger live with great seats, we had the best hotel room. My boss happens to be great friends with general manager of the Hyatt Regency which was a 2 minute walk to Nationwide Arena. He called and made our reservations for us, my boss told me the GM would make sure we were well taken care of. Boy did he understate! When we checked in on Friday afternoon the lady behind the desk told us we were in the VIP suite for 2 nights. We only planned to stay for one night.

The room is usually $250 a night, a little out of our budget! Sure enough both nights were completely free and they sent up complimentary champagne and fruit!

Needless to say, we had the most unforgettable weekend of our lives! If you are Bob Seger fan I strongly encourage you to see him live, he sounded fantastic and the show was very entertaining!

My Very First Concert!

How sad is it that a 23 year old has never been to a concert? That is all about to change because tomorrow I am going to Columbus to attend my very first concert! Not only is it my first concert but my husband and I are going to see Bob Seger! We absolutely love Bob Seger! We have amazing seats on the floor right in front of the stage!




I am not sure what to expect but I know that it will be epic! I have tried my best to find the opening act but they are being extremely tight lipped! They are rumors that it may be Kid Rock or The Zac Brown Band! Guess we will find out soon enough!
